UP Election dates are out with Election being held in 7 phase across the states. All parties have started their campaign with many of them hitting back to each other. Many ministers or politicians also started switching of parties for the best portfolio.

Congress would like gain back the seat in UP which plays very important role in the Politics of India with around 403 seats in the state. Congress has also prepared its ground with hitting back at the Maywathi Government on the Corruption being held in the state. With Rahul Gandhi, the next Prime Minister to be, going on around state villages, holding panchayats and also holding both the Government and other parties for not letting UP develop.

BJP is not in position to state, whether it will grab the UP election, or will just win some of the seats and be prepared to be opposition. As there is no major campaign held by the BJP minister or top leader, any campaign held speaks about nation wide Corruption then the state issues. BJP has also hit back with getting Baburao Khushwaha into the party, who has been charges levied on corruption while being a minister in BSP.

BSP, Mayawati party is in process of clean up the Government face, with removal of minister from the parties. In last few weeks, Mayawathi has removed about 10-15 minister on basis of corruption charges levied by Lokayuktha.

Governor: Shri B.L. Joshi
Leader of Opposition : Shri Shiv Pal Singh Yadav from Samajwadi Party.
