BS Yeddyurappa release first list of 69 contestant for May 5 Election

With election commission announcing the date for the election for Karnataka General Assembly as May 5.  All the major party have come into action with getting ready to prepare their list of candidates for the general election.  There is a lot stake for each party in this election.

For BJP it is do a die situation, after Yeddyurappa has quit from BJP and formed his own party called “Karnataka Janata Party” (KJP), which has also displayed its mark in the local bodies election with winning about 300 seats.  The same number has been decreased from the total count of BJP local seats during this elections.
